I saw a tutorial for making friendship bracelets online the other day and decided to try. Shortening sleeves and adding inserts to skirt slits

I unfortunately don’t have any pictures of the dress being worn, but I don’t think you really need one to see what it would look like. But if I do get a pic, I’ll put it up here. I’m just going to show first, how I shortened the sleeves of a cuffed long sleeve. The cuff came in handy but isn’t really necessary since you can make your own piece. I’ll explain later.

Handsewn Buttonholes

I’m not actually sure where we got this book. I just found it yesterday. But I really like it. It has many things I already knew but other things it shows how to do better. I really like how they show different ways to do sleeve cuffs. It’s very interesting. I haven’t read it all, but I have looked through most of it. And one thing I really like, is how well they explain how to handsew a buttonhole.
